Nordic Vision

FRANKFURT: Europe’s most exciting and groundbreaking fashion designers come from its Nordic countries, are well-connected in international networks, and enjoy impressive commercial success.

As curators of the third Nordic Fashion Biennale, artist duo Cooper & Gorfer explores the roots of West Nordic Fashion and takes an unusual approach to the topic by telling its story visually. Over the past two years, Sarah Cooper and Nina Gorfer have travelled throughout Iceland, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands to stage and photograph the work of 12 remarkable fashion talents. The resulting body of work will be showcased in The Weather Diaries exhibition, which opens on March 21, 19:00 at Frankfurt’s Museum Angewandte Kunst.

If you are not in Frankfurt tonight you have the possibility to win the book to the exhibition curated by Cooper & Gorfer, Gestalten Verlag, Berlin. Wherever you live, send us your favorite picture of YOUR fashion inspiration to takepart[at]irmasworld.com and win the book from the exhibition THE WEATHER DIARIES. Good luck!

WHERE IS IRMA NOW?

MUNICH

When in Munich my
favorite store to look
for the best selection
of clothes is THERESA.
The staff is competent
and always has the
