Already Summer Again

PARIS: That is the feeling you get, when you come to Paris for the spring/summer prêt-à-porter shows 2013 from today till October 2nd. I feel like time-travelling, skipping the ice-cold winter in northern Europe.
Here are few things I will be doing while being in Paris: Visiting one of my favorite galleries, NextLevel, and looking at works by Jose Levy from his stay at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto. Taking a break from browsing the marché aux puces at the new Ma Cocotte Restaurant, a no-decor style place by Philippe Starck (sounds almost unbelievable). Looking for a winter cover-up at my favorite hat shop, Maison Michel, and buying something at Nina Ricci, avenue Rue Montaigne, which immediately puts me in a French mood wherever I am.

Top row: A model wearing a hat by Maison Michel, Karl Lagerfeld after his fashion show paying special attention to one of his many guests, girls wearing Nina Ricci at the Bon Marché in Paris, below: detail of a work by artist Ronan Guillon at the NextLevel Gallery, mixed tea cups at Ma Cocotte Restaurant, a gathering in front of the Musée Rodin before the Christian Dior Show

brings good news to you.
She lives and travels around
the world, stopping wherever
she sees something interesting,
reporting on what inspires her.
She finds beauty in the
most varied places,
from fashion shows
to art exhibits, from lonely
beaches to bustling cities.

When in Munich my
favorite store to look
for the best selection
of clothes is THERESA.
The staff is competent
and always has the
best ideas for styling
and mixing different
designers together.
