Bain Luxe

NEW YORK: Imagine just the best for your hair after a summer holiday at the beach. Get ready for autumn and have your hair perfectly groomed by Kérastase. I choose especially for my dry and damaged hair the Line “Résistance Force”, Bain Force Architecte, the Masque Force Architecte and the Fibre Architecte Serum. Use twice a week and your hair will have the couture touch. For a final finish I use a few drops of  the ultimate Grands Crus hair.

If you prefer to go to a Salon for the Kérastase treatment, visit Chris Chase Salon, tucked away in West Chelsea on Ninth Avenue. The Chris Chase Salon is beautifully decorated with black walls, white trim, mid-century furniture, and a dramatic crystal chandelier, which hangs in the center of the salon. Interestingly enough, Chris and co-owner Mitchell Chase Slabach are not head hairstylists but two businessmen. They wanted to open and decorate the salon, and they hired all the right staff. They certainly made the right choice by selecting Paul Cucinello to be the salon’s creative director. I was lucky enough to have my hair treated by Paul with various Kérastase products. First, my hair was shampooed with Luminous Softening Shampoo for Dry, Highlighted or Color-Treated Hair, then followed by the new Pixelist hair treatment, which is meant for either normal or colored hair. It practically illuminates tresses – you’ll notice that your hair is incredibly shiny afterward and that the color is even and sealed in.
