Surrounded by cliffs and the sea – The Polurrian Bay Hotel

MULLION, CORNWALL: Just a few days in Cornwall are always enough for my mind and body to relax. From the Polurrian Bay Hotel, which is perched high up on a cliff, I take long walks along the Cornwall Coastal Path, which starts right the doorstep and leads past rugged cliffs and secluded coves. I woke up this morning completely refreshed, after the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks had lulled me to sleep last night.

In the afternoon I will be driving over to the west coast to pay a visit to the Tate St. Yves and stroll through the village’s many artists’ studios and galleries. Afterwards I’m meeting friends for dinner at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen in Watergate Bay. The menu is always different, but the Cornish seafood dishes are a sure hit.
