My Favorite Spots in Chelsea

The Hotel Americano

LA BERGAMOTE, the Chelsea-French pastry shop, I go there for my breakfast and order an almond croissant
F.I.T., I love to take pictures of chic students in front of the Fashion Institute of Technology.
COMME DES GARCONS, BALENCIAGA, just looking at the window displays and the presentation of merchandise gives me great joy and inspiration.
NEST, I love to buy beautiful things for my home, this store is one of my favourites.
SOTTSASS is another fantastic shop for great design finds.
KNICKERBOCKER, only for lunch, the grilled caramelized pork ribs are the best.
BLOSSOM, 9th & 21st Street, a great organic alternative for a much lighter lunch.
MANHATTAN FRUIT EXCHANGE, an organic food store where I always buy the roasted beet salad with toasted walnuts.
HUDSON RIVER PATH, along the Westside Highway, is great if you want to go for a bike ride in the afternoon.
THE CHELSEA MARKET, is always a treat for buying fresh fish, fruit, glassware and much more for the kitchen.
BUDDAKAN, MORIMOTO and CRAFT are my favorite restaurants and they show that NYC has the best of everything from everywhere.
HIRO BALLROOM, the nightclub under the Maritime Hotel, for electro bands playing live music.

IRMA

brings good news to you.
She lives and travels around
the world, stopping wherever
she sees something interesting,
reporting on what inspires her.
She finds beauty in the
most varied places,
from fashion shows
to art exhibits, from lonely
beaches to bustling cities.

WHERE IS IRMA NOW?

MUNICH

When in Munich my
favorite store to look
for the best selection
of clothes is THERESA.
The staff is competent
and always has the
best ideas for styling
and mixing different
designers together.
