LONDON: While The Savoy’s relaunch has breathed new life into many of its iconic spaces, The Beaufort Bar has been fashioned from scratch. Occupying the old stage where crooners and penguin-suited big bands once serenaded the assembled company, this theatrical arena has been reborn as a venue for nightly cabaret. Savvy bartenders mix faultless cocktails from £14 a pop: try house mixes such as ‘Patience’ (a Hendrick’s gin martini with Chartreuse, lime marmalade, green tea & cucumber gomme).
