IRMA arrives in Istanbul for a weekend with friends

The pool on the 47th floor is an oasis of calm and the view is of course stunning.
Whenever you feel tired, visit the spa on the top floor of the Park Hyatt Hotel. The view makes you believe that you have finally arrived in Tokyo and the fresh water in the pool wakes up your mind.
Going out in Tokyo means looking your very best. I will start the night at B BAR MARUNOUCHI a sexy lounge located beneath the Baccarat Boutique, which serves expertly mixed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

I am taking it easy after my exhibition at ISETAN in Tokyo and treat myself to  a slice of poetic bread at Rivernananco.

IRMA lunches today at THE DOCK KITCHEN. A new sectret location at the old Virgin recording studios on the Grand Union Canal in London. Chef Stevie Parle offers today:
I just saw the latest wall installation by the Brazilian artist Rosilene Luduvico in Berlin at Galerie Zink, Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 24. I like her focus on the interpretation of trees.
Trees are the perfect place on a hot summer day.
Prints by Josef Frank
Dutch-born designer Michael van der Ham incorporates shapes from different decades in fashion, using clashing textures, prints and colours to further the collage effect. I noticed him last year at the London Fashion Week and whenever I have the chance to wear an oustanding dress, I pick one of my collage dresses.
All you need to add to a strong summer print are dark and heavy eyebrows.
I like my vintage Marni summer dresses and I will always hang on to them because the older they get the more value they have.
Perfect for a Friday night out: 360 Istanbul
I just got back from Art Basel where I looked at a lot of art and people. My favorite piece is by Jack Pierson, the installation ROMANCE which he made in 2009 and showed at Art Unlimited a couple of days ago in Basel.

Whenever I travel to a city  I have not been to before I will make sure to spend the first night in a restaurant with a stunning view.
My choice in Istanbul is 360 Istanbul, the poshest New Ottoman restaurant in the bohemian quarter Beyoglu. The place is packed every night with visiting supermodels and their oglers and of course the view is the best in town.
