Dancing Queen

My favorite pavilion at the Biennale was the Scandinavian one. I could imagine living like that – except for the murder.
Dasha Zhukova’s Party on a Saturday night was a great dance. Here you see Olympia Scarry dancing.
Installation by Tomas Saraceno: “Galaxies Forming Along Filaments, Like Droplets Along the Strands of a Spider’s Web”.

Chanel Cruise Collection

The Ready-to-wear 2009 Cruise Collection for Chanel took place on the beach in front of the Grandhotel Excelsior, where I go swimming every morning when I stay on the Lido. Coco Chanel brought most of her lovers to this place.

A very impressive piece of art by Jake and Dinos Chapman. FUCKING HELL!

"The definition of luxury: Something simple. For me, luxury is a pleasure. Something that fits my character." - Rosie Buccellati

I am leaving Venice at 5:30 in the morning, the best moment to walk across San Marco on a sunny day.

Today I visit the Laban Dance Center in Creekside, England. It was built in 2004 by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. The staircase’s spiral form symbolizes movement best.

Whenever I dream of a summerhouse, Luis Barragán’s house in Mexico City comes to my mind. The house was built in 1947 but still feels contemporary. His sense of color and simplicity is my favorite inspiration when I think of architecture.

When in Munich my
favorite store to look
for the best selection

The staff is competent
and always has the
best ideas for styling
and mixing different
designers together.
