“New Yorker Kunst Geschichten” by Kat Schuetz

VENICE: The book I will read while being in Venice, visiting this year’s Art Biennale: “New Yorker Kunst Geschichten” by Kat Schuetz is an entertaining and knowledgeable new book which gives you a great inside story of New York artistic talent like for example the editor of the art-and-fashion publication Visionaire, Cecilia Dean, the artist Louise Bourgeois or the choreographer Merce Cunningham.
Order it now at (available only in a German language edition)

I am Looking Forward...

LONDON: … not only to all the sunny days in summer but also to the fashion fun I am having with my glasses. I was inspired by the Thai designer Moo Piyasombatkul, who creates eyebrow-raising sunglasses with a flamboyant, baroque feel. She gets her inspiration from a lexicon of classic shapes and vintage Wayfarers and John Lennon style glasses she finds on flea markets. Then she combines the classical antique porcelain shapes with the modern glasses, et voilà, a new style is born.

LONDON: Amy Winehouse was a talented and unique artist. We will not only remember her music but her style: she revived the beehive hairstyle of the 1960s and made the eyeline her own personal icon.

MIAMI: If you want to get inspired for the poolside, visit Florida and your breath will be taken away by the nicest and most opulent poolsides. Wether it is a private pool or a hotel pool right next to the ocean, you will be happy to stay on your deckchair with a good book in your hand.

The Salvatore Ferragamo campaign by Mikael Jansson, inspired by the movie  Swimming Pool

brings good news to you.
She lives and travels around
the world, stopping wherever
she sees something interesting,
reporting on what inspires her.
She finds beauty in the
most varied places,
from fashion shows
to art exhibits, from lonely
beaches to bustling cities.

When in Munich my
favorite store to look
for the best selection
of clothes is THERESA.
The staff is competent
and always has the
best ideas for styling
and mixing different
designers together.
