The Cup

IRMA wears a vintage Givenchy cape and fur hat.

Los Angeles: I am on my way to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. While walking down Wilshire Boulevard I look at myself in a shop window carrying a cup of hot tea in my hand. Wherever I go I see people with coffeecups. Including myself.

Dark Chill

Los Angeles: It can get chilly at night so make sure you are in the right place. I start my evening at Magnolia, and after dinner I go to a private party at My House. From there it’s straight to bed. Everyone goes straight to bed in L.A. because everybody has important breakfast meetings, castings and rehearsals early in the morning.

Where the lights are still on

Los Angeles: When the days are getting shorter and darker in Europe I go to the west coast and spend a week end in L.A.  I stay at my friend’s house, the photographer and art director Werner Mink, who captured the view of his Hollywood Hills bungalow best at night.

My favorite Christmas cookies

There is nothing better than the smell of fresh vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and anise around the house on a cold winter day. I spent my Sunday afternoon baking Christmas cookies. My favorites are Peparelli, honey almond cookies.
You need: 1 kilo wheat flour (type 405), 300 g brown sugar, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, 250 ml olive oil, three eggs, 300g honey, some fresh organic orange peel and juice, 250 ml Marsala sweet wine, 300 g finely chopped almonds.

Heat the oven to 190°C. Mix the sugar, baking soda, flour and cinnamon in a bowl. Add the honey, Marsala, orange juice & peel, lightly beaten eggs and almonds. Mix everything together with a wooden spoon. Separate the dough into 4 portions and form four rolls. Put the rolls into the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Let them cool off and cut into little 1.5 cm thick slices. Enjoy!

My coat is my home

Irma wears a black sheepskin coat by Fendi, Chanel boots and pistachio green eye shadow by Shu Uemura.

Wear a stunning wintercoat with matching hair and make-up colours to keep you warm when walking in the city or in the countryside. I get inspired by Rihanna wearing a sheepskin and wool coat from the MARNI collection to bright fire-red hair.
