Herbal delight

A cup of freshly made herbal tea by Kreuther is both delicious and healthy. When I open the tea box, the smell makes me think of the beautiful Tegernsee landscape. I take it with me wherever I go.

I am going for a very chilly swim in the crystal clear Gumpen near Kreuth today.

Food shopping

"There is nothing more flattering for a woman to wear than a typical ‘Tegernseer Tracht’." -

The best tailor is Trachtenschneiderin Andrea Sanktjohanser, Nördliche Hauptstraße 8, in Kreuth.

I love to go food shopping at Tegernsee. For cheese I go to the Käsealm, for vegetables to the Markthalle in Rottach Egern, and for artisan bread to the Sanktjohanser Bäckerei König Ludwig.

Irmas Diary

I will invite my friends for an early dinner into the boathouse of the Fischerei Tegernsee, Seestraße 42, in Tegernsee. We will order oysters and chilled white wine to watch the sun go down.

After my third day of hiking my muscles do hurt and I need a little bit of extra care – one liter of oat milk before climbing up the hill.

I love Loden

I am going hiking today to my favorite hut near Tegernsee, from Kreuth towards the Söllbachtal. Once I arrive I will order a homemade cheesecake.

When I go out at night it might be cold, and a good Loden jacket will be best to wear. The best address is the Maßschneiderei Josef Winkler, Mühlauerweg 7, in Kreuth.

A model wearing the new Burberry trench coat with a soft color gradient on the cover of Nippon Vogue. My favorite Vogue and my favorite piece of clothing.
On my way to Damascus where I will stay at the Hotel Talisman, an old Jewish palace which has been beautifully restored lately.

This painting by Caravaggio ist the most beautiful thing I have seen today.
This Ninja girl has a sweet little tongue.
Yellow hand-knitted gloves are exactly what I am looking for.

I am reading “Edie: American Girl” by Jean Stein, about the rise and fall of socialite and Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgwick.

She lives and travels around

she sees something interesting,
reporting on what inspires her.
She finds beauty in the

When in Munich my
favorite store to look
